Les Jardins de Silona
FREN
The white house and its wooden terrace, seen from the edge of the swimming pool

The house

Six thousand square metres of garden, and a pool heated all year round.

The house

Les Jardins de Silona opened in 2010, 7 km from Essaouira, on the edge of the forest. Frédérique and Damien have welcomed guests here ever since, in a country house restored in the spirit of the region, surrounded by 6,000 m² of garden.

The decoration is simple, elegant and comfortable. The spaces are attractive and easy to live in: you move from the pool to the sitting room, from the sitting room to the terrace, without ever feeling as though you are in a hotel.

All around

The garden

Olive trees, bougainvillea, patios and several terraces, one of them with a view.

The garden is large enough for everyone to find their own spot, in the shade or in the sun, at any time of day.

Swimming

The pool

Heated to 29°C all year round, this is where most of the day happens: swimming, sun loungers, lunches on the terrace and long quiet breaks.

The youngest guests have their own small pool.

What a heated pool changes
The hammam in blue tadelakt and its bench

The hammam

A traditional hammam, on site

A real tadelakt hammam, heated on request. Steam, black soap, a scrub with the kessa glove: the whole ritual, without going down into town.

What to expect in the hammam
The massage table and its chiselled mirror, in the soft light of the hammam

The spa

A massage room

Next to the hammam, in the same soft light, the house has its massage room.

The upstairs terrace and its railing, above the garden and the swimming pool

The rooftop

A terrace for yoga

Upstairs, a terrace is given over to yoga and fitness.

  • The sitting room and its fireplace, pink armchairs and wicker pendant lights
  • The veranda along its length, coral armchairs and round rush rugs
