7 km from Essaouira, on the Marrakech road, Les Jardins de Silona is a guesthouse with six rooms set in 6,000 m² of garden. Far enough from the bustle to feel genuinely somewhere else, close enough to reach the medina, the beaches and the restaurants in a few minutes.
People come here to slow down, enjoy the sun and spend time with family or friends. The house has kept the spirit of a guesthouse, with the comfort you would expect from a good hotel: generous spaces, rooms where you feel at home, a large heated pool, home cooking and a team on site.
Frédérique and Damien have been welcoming guests here since 2010.

Heated to 29°C all year round
This is the heart of the house. The day goes by between swims, sun loungers, meals on the terrace and long stretches in the shade. A small pool lets the youngest swim in peace.
For a quieter moment, the house also has a hammam.

Six rooms, each with its own space
Six rooms across four separate lodgings, each with its own outdoor space: two patios, an enclosed garden and a private terrace over the pool. Each one has a space of its own and a real sense of privacy, while the shared areas make it easy to come together.

The countryside is right there, quiet and open. And Essaouira is fifteen minutes away: the medina, the beaches, the restaurants facing the ocean, camel rides, horse riding, surfing. Everything is easy to reach, without having to choose between rest and exploring.

We absolutely loved our stay at Les Jardins de Silona ; the kindness of Frédérique and Damien wraps you in gentleness and calm, they know exactly how to be present and welcoming while still letting their guests enjoy the place, unwind and rest in this setting that is so soothing. Worth noting that the great thing about the place is also how close it is to Essaouira, which means you can use the town taxis, often cheaper than the big taxis. Worth noting too that there is a real difference in temperature between the town and Les Jardins de Silona (sometimes as much as 5°C) which means you are perfectly comfortable by the pool without getting cold at the end of March. And the pool is wonderful, heated to 29°C, an absolute treat. Everything was perfect, thank you.

Starting with the welcome, which is attentive, professional, respectful and warm, in short we could not praise it enough ! The meals and breakfasts are excellent, of a really high end quality. As for the rooms, they are comfortable, tastefully decorated, and impeccably clean. The setting is stunning, even better than in the photos ! We were even lucky enough to enjoy a good beldi hammam on site, a real luxury. I really do recommend this place and would so love to come back. The kindness of Frédérique and Damien creates an incomparable energy, so a big thank you to you both, you have pulled off the magic of creating a place where serenity reigns supreme.

The house is very pretty, beautifully decorated, very clean, the garden and the pool are magnificent and very well kept. The place is a little away from Essaouira, perfect for peace and quiet. You can have lunch and dinner on site, which we did, the meals are excellent, cooked the same day with fresh produce. We had a feast !
